"Speedster" and "Ultra Energy" are pure adrenaline fuel, while "Soldiers' Sorrow" and "Pathos" bring unexpected emotional depth to a roster brawler. "BUDOKAI" carries the weight of its name with a track that feels like a proper tournament anthem.
"Harlequin" takes a left turn with a quirky, almost playful energy that breaks up the intensity nicely. The tracklist builds a smart arc from anticipation ("The Great Expectation," "The Dawn Of The Extreme Battle") through conflict to resolution.
"Katharsis" and "Defiance" hit with genuine dramatic weight. "Nose To Tail" is an oddly named closer, but the overseas version of this soundtrack holds together as a cohesive listen in a way that a lot of fighting game OSTs don't bother attempting.
