"Demolition Man," "Fire Fight," and "Explosion" are exactly as intense as their names suggest, delivering the kind of guitar-driven battle themes that make ki blasts feel even more impactful. What elevates this beyond a typical fighting game score is the variety packed into the non-combat tracks.
"Tracking Dragon Ball" has an adventurous, almost whimsical quality that captures the treasure-hunt spirit of the original series, while "Brief Rest" and "A Moment" provide genuine breathing room between bouts. "Schemer" brings a slinky, villainous energy that's perfect for cutscenes featuring the franchise's more calculating antagonists, and "The Pursuit Of Truth" carries a sense of mystery that works beautifully for story mode.
"The Hero" and "Victory Road" stand out as the album's most triumphant moments, with soaring melodies that feel tailor-made for those climactic Goku victories. On the flip side, "Faint In Agony" and "Nemesis" dive into darker territory with heavy, oppressive arrangements.
"Final Confrontation" closes the album with appropriate gravity, building tension through layered instrumentation before unleashing a full-throttle climax that's worthy of a Saiyan showdown.
