goes full jazz fusion, and "ENIGMA" commits to progressive rock with time signature changes that would make a prog band jealous. The genre tags in parentheses aren't marketing fluff; they're accurate. The event and story tracks cover a staggering range of moods.

"Okashi no Kuni no Alice" dips into Wonderland-style whimsy, "Kanashimi no Mephisto" brings operatic darkness, and "Samba de Sabbat" is exactly the unholy dance party it sounds like. "Overwhelming Violence" lives up to its name with crushing intensity, while "Lusty Fever!"

pivots into something brassy and provocative. "The Scent of the Death" and "The traitor" carry real narrative weight for tracks embedded in a gacha game. The Japanese-language tracks continue the series tradition of pulling from mythology and folklore.

"Ohguchi no Magami -God of wolf-" draws on Shinto imagery, "Mitake no Keikoku Yori" evokes mountain gorge atmospheres, and "Ituwari no Gikyoku" plays with theatrical deception. Seven years into a mobile game's lifespan, most soundtracks would be coasting.

Dragon Poker is still swinging for the fences.
