The opening trio alone sets up a Japanese atmospheric palette that feels like walking through a ghost story. "kangoku no Flute" and "Jailbreakers" form a thematic pair, the flute's lonely prison lament answered by the breakout energy that follows.
The mid-section goes wild with variety. "Drapo Ko-shien Cheer song" featuring MOS is a full-on baseball stadium anthem complete with crowd energy, a genuinely absurd pivot from the darkness that precedes it. "Trick or Destroy!"
brings Halloween event chaos, "NEO TOKIO" channels cyberpunk neon, and "Rock'n'Roll" is just straight-up rock with no pretense. "ZeppatsuMachine DorapoRace!" sounds like a theme for a racing minigame that shouldn't exist but absolutely does.
The back half returns to darker territory. "Yomiji" pulls from the land-of-the-dead imagery of Japanese mythology, "Shi no Aji" translates roughly to the taste of death and sounds like it, and "Oni-Boshi" draws on demon-star folklore with crushing weight.
"Black sickle [full Arr.]" closes things out as a fully realized arrangement that feels like a proper album closer. Ten years into Dragon Poker's run, these soundtracks remain one of mobile gaming's best-kept secrets.
