The Three Kingdoms-inspired "Dorapo Sangokushi Enbu" brings sweeping Chinese orchestral drama to a Japanese card game, and it works beautifully. "Psycho" and "Exorcistars" are the heavy hitters here, pushing into aggressive and supernatural territory.
"Noroi to keigan" (Curses and Prayers) carries a weight that transcends its mobile game origins. "Benitoite sparkle" is named after one of the rarest gemstones on earth, and the composition matches that sense of precious rarity with delicate, crystalline textures.
"ZeppatsuMachine DorapoRace!" closes the album as a bonus track with manic racing energy that captures the playful side of the franchise. "Courageous hearts" and "Broken Boys" provide an emotional core amid all the spectacle.
Ten volumes in, and the Dragon Poker composers are still refusing to phone anything in.
