Twenty-one tracks that feel like journal entries set to music. "Misty Mountains" delivers exactly the moody, fog-wrapped atmosphere the title promises. "Ethereal Strings" floats in this suspended, dreamlike space that makes time feel irrelevant.
But then "Madness" and "Witchery Curses" break the calm with darker, more unsettling textures that remind you this path isn't entirely safe. "Dark Rider" introduces a genuine sense of threat that contrasts sharply with the gentler pieces.
"Follow The Drizzlepath" and "Drizzle My Path" serve as the thematic heart of the album, these wandering, unhurried compositions that match the pace of putting one foot in front of the other. "Summit" arrives with a sense of earned arrival.
"Frogs" is just called "Frogs" and honestly that kind of straightforwardness is refreshing. The whole thing works best when you let it play straight through, like the walk it was written for.
