"Sschindylryn" is all alien menace and underground dread, capturing the Underdark in sound. "The King's Forest" opens things up with woodsy danger, sunlight cutting through canopy. "Woodland Skirmish" ramps into combat with urgency that fits the ambush-heavy design.
The score shifts well between the surface world and the depths below. "Dark Elf Defense" and "Drow Counterattack" keep the pressure on during encounters. "Evening Star" has this settlement calm that feels earned after the fighting.
Eleven tracks. Tight, focused, no wasted space. For anyone who wants to remember what the Underdark sounded like before it became mainstream fantasy.
