Sharp FM synth tones ripping through that early-90s PC-98 sound chip. Elm Knight is a 1993 strategy game, and the soundtrack goes harder than you would expect from something with "knight" in the title. "SAINT FOREST" has this driving FM melody that sticks in your head, and "Demon Beast Zone" gets dark and aggressive in a way that only FM Towns hardware can pull off.

"Space Diamond" pushes into sci-fi territory mid-fantasy and somehow it works. The range here is ridiculous. Battle themes, town themes, character pieces like "Selena" and "Selena Cute" sitting right next to "Burning" and "Crazy Play."
There is a whole jingle collection buried in the tracklist too. If you are into that raw FM synthesis sound from Japanese PCs, Elm Knight is a goldmine.
