"Bad Cop" has an edge to it, distorted and paranoid, like you're the one kicking down doors for once. "Penultimatum" ramps up the pressure right before everything falls apart. There's a handful of unused tracks like "Farside" and "Vort Soul" that feel like deleted scenes from a darker cut of the game.
Still worth hearing. The whole thing channels Source Engine energy. Industrial, bleak, built for corridors and gunfire. If you played HL2 and thought "what if I was the bad guy," this is exactly how that sounds.
