ESPGALUDA Original Sound Track

2004 · Arcade, Playstation 2

Driving arcade rock and urgent melodic lines from the jump. ESPGALUDA is a 2004 CAVE shoot-em-up on arcade and PS2, and the soundtrack slaps with that mid-2000s bullet hell intensity. Bloody Separation hits like a declaration of war, stage 1 energy that never lets up.

Tremendous Pressure lives up to its name as the last boss theme, just relentless tension built on distorted guitars and pounding drums. Then The Dream Seen as a Child comes in for the name entry screen and it's so gentle it almost hurts after everything you survived.

Fort City and the arranged tracks add this extra layer of polish that shows how much care went into the score. Ravine especially shines in its arranged version. If you play shmups and skip the soundtrack, you're only getting half the experience.
