"Tower of the Shadow of Death" is a moody, tense Ys rework that hits harder than you expect from a promo disc. "First Step Towards Wars" gets another arrangement here and still sounds incredible every time. Then "The God of the Four Winds" from Xanadu closes things out with real weight.
The Gurumin movie promo track is a fun oddity thrown in at the end. Short collection, only eleven tracks, but every one feels purposeful. If you've already gone deep on official Falcom OSTs and want the stuff that slipped through the cracks, this autumn set fills the gaps.
