Carnival organs twisting into anxiety. Fearmonium is a 2021 Metroidvania set inside a kid's psyche and the soundtrack is exactly as unsettling as that premise demands. "Back to the carnival" has this warped funhouse quality that makes your skin crawl just slightly.
"Chiptune Panic" flips into retro chaos out of nowhere, and "Death Jazz 2.0" is... yeah, it's death jazz. The range here is wild. "Woods of despair" does creeping atmospheric dread, then "Sale of clowns" exists and you just have to deal with that.
"Depression" strips things way back. Every track feels like a different flavor of childhood fear given a melody. If you want a soundtrack that sounds like a nightmare with surprisingly good taste in music, press play.
