Clean, atmospheric indie tones drifting through mountain air. Fugen is a small 2018 PC game with an EP-sized soundtrack that says more in six tracks than most games say in sixty. "The Cave" builds this low, echoing mood that sits with you, while "Alpenglow" opens everything up into something bright and elevated.

Then they throw in "Fugen (8bit Version)" which reimagines the main theme through chiptune and somehow works perfectly. The remix tracks show how much range the core melodies have. Sean Han Tani's rework twists the theme into something completely different but still recognizable.
Whole thing feels like a tiny, focused art piece. Worth your time if you like short soundtracks that know when to stop.
