"Chrome and Crimson" opens with metallic urgency, "Home Sweet Irkalla" drips with underground dread, and "Sylva, The Great Forest" opens up into something vast and green after hours of industrial corridors. The pacing is smart.
"Meropis, The Heart of Canaan" gives you a hub town warmth, then "Red in Gear and Claw" throws you into combat. "The Molten Maze" is exactly as hot and oppressive as it sounds. Bonus tracks like "Flame and Ember" and "A Spark" round things out.
Someone wanted you to have more than the game gave you. If you love metroidvanias where the music tells you where you are before the map does, Gestalt nails that feeling.
