"Temple of Fire" crackles with warm intensity while "Water Temple" flows cool and measured in a completely different direction. The trial tracks escalate nicely within each element. "Earth Trial 1" through "Earth Trial 3" build on each other and the boss themes pay that off.
"Air Boss" has this floating tension that fits perfectly. "Akunin Theme" stands out with a menace that the early PS2 hardware handles with surprising punch. The whole thing is structured around progression and it feels intentional.
Solid pick for anyone nostalgic for that era when every action game had elemental levels and none of us complained.
