2005 · Playstation 2

Pure hot-blooded vocal power blasting through your PS2 speakers. JAM Project brought "GONG" for a Super Robot Wars game and it goes exactly as hard as you'd expect. The title track is a full-throttle anime rock anthem with layered vocals that sound like five people screaming courage directly into your soul.

"Brother in Faith" pulls back slightly but still carries that fist-in-the-air intensity. The off-vocal versions let you hear how dense the instrumentation actually is underneath all that vocal firepower. Guitar work is relentless.

PS2 era JAM Project was operating at peak intensity and these tracks prove it. For when you need to feel like you're piloting a giant mech through an asteroid field.
