Glitchy, off-kilter electronic noise that sounds like a chiptune having an anxiety attack. GoNNER is a roguelike about dying over and over and the music matches that chaotic energy perfectly. "Over the top shit" is literally named that and delivers accordingly.

"Three fat bats" bounces between playful and menacing. "the janky tune" leans into its own messiness on purpose. There's a lo-fi charm running through the whole thing. "The swamps" and "The caves" build atmosphere out of weird textures and off-beat rhythms.
"Press jump to die" as a track title is also just peak indie game honesty. The Norwegian-titled tracks like "Sopp" and "Sa takk" add this extra layer of strangeness. For anyone who thinks dying repeatedly deserves a weirder soundtrack.
