"Make Me Your Own" featuring Raj Ramayya brings that smooth, soulful delivery over a deep house groove. "In The Ruins" with CHiCO shifts the tone darker and more atmospheric. The album bookends itself with "To Resume The Job" and "To Finish The Task," which is honestly a nice structural touch for a rhythm game record.
"Gotta Get My Groove On" does exactly what the title promises. Every track here sounds like it was built for a Friday night session at the cab. Worth it if you want arcade house music that actually holds up outside the game.
