"Moon Over The Castle (A-Spec Mix)" opens with the definitive version of the series anthem, heavier and more aggressive than the PS1 original. "Light Velocity" and "An Endless Journey" are the two tracks that define the GT3 experience for most players, these flowing, almost meditative pieces that somehow make watching the same track for 200 laps feel zen rather than tedious.
"Slipstream" has a tighter, more driving energy. "Concentration" does exactly what the title says, it puts you in the zone. "'Not Bad Approach'" and "Great Job!" serve as the results screen cues, and hearing them still triggers a Pavlovian sense of accomplishment.
The album bookends with two versions of "Moon Over The Castle," the A-Spec Mix and the Orienta-Rhythm 'Banquet' Mix, which reimagines the track with an Eastern flavor. Fifteen tracks that are permanently fused to early PS2 nostalgia.
