"Down In The Basement" sets the tone immediately, low drones and something scratching at the edges. "Enclosure" has this claustrophobic hum that makes your room feel smaller. "Anthropoid" and "Human Form" sit in this uncanny valley of sound where things almost resemble normal music but something is always wrong.
The fact that seven tracks are labeled "unused" and still included tells you how much material was generated for this thing. "Shhh" is exactly as tense as the name implies. "Hollowed Out" feels like the aftermath of something terrible, all emptiness and faint resonance.
If you play horror games for the audio design more than the visuals, this one will absolutely deliver.
