Growlanser II: Condition of Knight follows the same format of alternating story chapters with musical intermissions, but the narrative arc here is darker. "Tragedy of Starkberg" and "The Law of Battlefields" carry serious weight in their titles and delivery.

"Sense of Justice" opens everything with a directness that sets the stakes immediately. "Carbuncle, the Dazzling One-eyed Beast" is the wildest chapter title in the set and the scene delivers on it. The final chapter, "Condition of Knight," lands with the gravity of a thesis statement.
"Are the Wall-eyes Dyeing in the Same Color" closes things with a question that lingers. If you've been working through the Growlanser drama albums, this one earns its place in the sequence.
