"Impulse of Blue" carries this cool, jazzy undercurrent beneath its rock foundation. "TIERRA BUENA" and "LA ARENA ROJA" bring Latin flavors that the series had been slowly incorporating, warm and rhythmically complex. Then "Twinkle Star" shifts into something almost gentle, a melodic breather that became a recurring favorite across later installments.
"MODEL DD4" keeps the franchise tradition of one brutally technical instrumental per release. "Apple and Honey" in its Guitar Solo version strips everything away and lets pure technique speak. The range between "Country day" and "Black horizon" on the same tracklist is kind of absurd.
For GFDM fans who want the installment that balanced aggression and atmosphere better than most.
