"Brush of Light" in its Special Symphonic Version is the kind of piece that makes you pause the game and just listen, layers of strings building into something genuinely emotional. "葬魂歌" (Funeral Song) goes dark and ritualistic, while "春芜长" has this gentle folk quality that feels like wandering through ancient grasslands at dawn.
The live recordings scattered throughout add real weight. So many variant arrangements too, each one shifting the mood just enough to feel intentional. If you have any love for Chinese fantasy RPGs, this is 83 tracks of exactly what you want to be hearing.
