"Fjord Baronies" carries this cold northern weight with deep brass and measured percussion, while "Yesha Empire" brings warmer, more exotic instrumentation that immediately tells you you're in different territory. "Anglean Republic" has a mechanical, industrial grind to it that fits a technology-obsessed faction perfectly.
The main theme sets up everything with confident orchestration before "Quest for Imperium" pushes you into the conflict. "Boss Music" does exactly what you'd expect, big and relentless. The bonus opening theme featuring Zain Effendi adds a vocal element that gives the whole album a different texture.
If you played the original and thought it needed more world-building in its music, Alliance filled that gap completely.
