"Can't Stop Burning" is pure hot-blooded escalation. "Nikopol" goes orchestral and soaring. "Rise Your XXX!" sounds like a revolution. The whiplash between comedy cues like "Peeping Tom" and genuine emotional devastation is constant.
"The Moon, the Stars and I" is quietly beautiful between all the screaming. The whole soundtrack drills through genre boundaries the same way the show drills through everything else. If you cry at robot anime, this score is why.
