"Musou emaki" (Warrior Picture Scroll) opens with historical drama energy. "Haisuinojin" (Fight with Your Back to the Water) brings desperate intensity. "Ōka no miyako" (Capital of Cherry Blossoms) maintains the series' floral aesthetic even in a hack-and-slash context.
"Homura no shishi" (Lion of Flames) and "Shura no juzu" (Rosary of Carnage) escalate the violence. "Yozakura no yume" (Dream of Night Cherry Blossoms) pulls back into beauty. If you wanted to hear Hakuoki's world through an action game lens, this PSP soundtrack delivers that reframing.
