"Five Long Years" carries this weary military weight, the Spirit of Fire crew already tired before the game even starts. "Money or Meteors" in its Arcadia Intro Version strips the track down to its bones compared to the album cut.
The 5.1 mix of "Spirit of Fire" is worth hearing just for how the spatial audio opens the whole thing up. "We're Burning Sunshine" and "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained" sit in that scrappy, almost western-tinged territory that made the Halo Wars score feel different from mainline Halo.
Bonus disc energy, honestly. For completionists who already own the main soundtrack and want to hear the version that shipped inside the DVD case.
