"Prismatic Ray" in 8-bit is immediately catchy, all square waves and rapid arpeggios. "Duel With Princess!!" goes from its original version to this punchy, NES boss-fight energy that feels like it could score a Mega Man stage.
"ABSOLUTE HERO" closes the disc with the kind of triumphant chiptune melody that makes you want to fist-pump at your desk. Five tracks, no filler. The whole concept is basically "what if our game existed in 1988" and the answer rules.
If you love when modern doujin games pay tribute to retro hardware with actual care and craft, these five tracks deliver.
