Road-worn, restless, indie rock energy that smells like gasoline. Heading Out is a 2024 PC driving game and its soundtrack sounds like a mixtape someone burned for a cross-country escape. "Same Old Road" opens with this tired defiance, like the driver's been going too long but won't stop.

"Storm Rider" has real momentum to it. And "Endless Desert" stretches out into this lonesome groove that makes you feel the miles. "No Turn Back Now" hits with exactly the urgency you'd expect. "Lullaby" sitting in the middle of all this road noise is an interesting move.
A gas station at 3AM kind of track. If you want a driving game soundtrack that actually feels like driving away from something, roll this one.
