"Smile memories -after theme-" opens with this warm afterglow energy that tells you immediately what kind of emotional ride you signed up for. The character themes are tender. "Noelle -sweet fairy-" and "Kotori -rebirth-" each have their own personality but share that same delicate touch.
"I'm Kaoru!" breaks the mood with something brighter and more energetic, which is a welcome shift. The monologue tracks and eyecatches round things out. Feels like a series saying goodbye to characters it genuinely cares about.
Perfect soundtrack for staring out a train window and pretending you're in the ending credits of your own life.
