Gritty folk horror with growling vocals and swamp-soaked acoustic guitars. Hunt: Showdown built its entire atmosphere on this sound and it works disturbingly well. "Rise up Dead Man" comes in two versions, instrumental and vocal, and both have this revival-tent-in-hell energy that defines the game's bayou nightmare setting.

"Devil in the Churchyard" is exactly as creepy as the name suggests. "Sinners Blues" leans into that old American gothic tradition with conviction. Only six tracks but every one hits. "Poison Curse" and "End Will Come" round out a soundtrack that sounds like it was recorded in a flooded church basement somewhere in Louisiana.
