"The Subtle Scent of Stale Donuts" grooves like a smoky lounge tune. "You're a Loose Cannon, Waffles!" goes full cop-drama climax. The range is impressive. "Sewers" goes appropriately murky, "A Wilderness Respite" opens things up, and "Stray Cat Lament" is genuinely melancholy.
The humor never undercuts the musicianship. "Snowball's Theme" and "Maple's Theme" give the supporting cast real emotional weight. Not bad for a game about a cat named Waffles. If you want proof that comedy adventures can have legitimately great soundtracks, start here.
