Funky, loud, absolutely unhinged mid-90s attitude. Johnny Bazookatone was this guitar-toting platformer hero nobody remembers, and the soundtrack slaps harder than it has any right to. "Johnny B Theme" kicks off with cocky, riff-driven swagger.
"The River Styx" goes full theatrical with its moody basslines, and "Just Sax Me Up" is exactly what it sounds like. "Hotel Demonique" has this sleazy lounge-from-hell energy that's impossible not to vibe with. The whole thing sounds like a 90s rock band scoring a cartoon.
1996 and you can feel every bit of that era. Big guitars, bigger attitude, zero subtlety. If you need a soundtrack that reminds you games used to just be weird and loud and proud about it, start here.
