"Rumbling hearts" gets like four different arrangements from the full game version to an acoustic take to a twin vocal duet, and each one hits different. "Blue tears" splits into Haruka and Mitsuki versions because of course both girls needed their own cry track.
Then "silver ring" and "innocence" carry the quieter scenes. The whole thing is structured around vocal tracks and their variants rather than background music. Very much a character-driven soundtrack for a character-driven story.
If you ever ugly-cried at a visual novel and need to do it again, this is your playlist.
