Bright Dreamcast-era pop vocals hitting you out of nowhere. Kita e. White Illumination is a 1999 adventure game and this Pure Songs collection goes full vocal album with drama tracks mixed in. "Memories of Summer" is pure late 90s J-pop sugar, "50,000 Tons of Dynamite" has a title that goes way harder than you'd expect from a Dreamcast dating sim, and "Boredom and Gloom" actually nails that restless winter feeling.

The karaoke version of the title track at the end is a nice touch. There are also four drama tracks scattered through the album that give it this radio show quality, very Dreamcast era. It sounds exactly like 1999 should sound.
