KONAMI ALL STARS 1993

1992 · Arcade, Gameboy, MSX2, NES

Shredding guitars and vocal arrangements colliding with arcade synth. KONAMI ALL STARS 1993 is a wild celebration album pulling from Gradius, X-Men, TwinBee, Castlevania, and more across NES, SNES, MSX2, and arcade hardware.

"Vampire Killer" gets a face-melting rock treatment, "Esperanto" turns Gradius III into a vocal piece you never knew you needed, and "BATTLES OF BATTLESHIP" is basically a guitar duel using Thunder Cross 2 as its battlefield.

The Kukeiha Club was clearly having fun here. There are comedy skits, duet challenges, even a Christmas Eve track. It is chaos in the best way. Perfect if you want to hear Konami's early 90s composers completely let loose off the leash.
