"Counter Attack" kicks off with urgent stage BGM energy, "Counter Sign" into "Last-Ditch Resistance" builds to a final boss confrontation, and "Peace Sign" closes it out with proper ending relief. The second half shifts to "The Main Event" with its select screen hype and fight music.

Stage clears, game overs, ranking themes, all the arcade ceremony you remember from pumping coins into cabinets. Late-80s Konami arcade sound was on a completely different level from everyone else. If you miss the days when game music had to grab you in the first three seconds or you walked to the next cabinet, this collection remembers.
