"Langrisser Theme - 1991" on the Genesis has that raw FM synth bite, then you hear the same melody on the 1993 SNES version and it's a completely different animal. "Neo-Holy War - 1994" on PC-FX sounds wild compared to the Saturn take.
Tracking "Prologue" across three hardware generations is honestly fascinating. It's basically a time capsule of how game audio evolved through the 90s, all filtered through one franchise. Perfect for anyone who wants to hear what the same compositions sound like when you swap out the console underneath them.
