"Faust" by Mick Gordon has that distorted, mechanical crunch he's known for. "Abaddon" from Dieselboy and Mark The Beast is pure drum and bass carnage. Then Jason Graves drops "Kitsune" with something atmospheric and predatory, like a different game hiding inside the same one.
Character themes give each fighter their own sonic identity. "Valkyrie Theme" versus "Axel" shows how wide the genre range gets. The game didn't survive but the soundtrack absolutely did. If you want a shooter OST that hits harder than the game's player count ever did, this is the one.
