Pure mid-90s dark fantasy. "Dark Castle" builds on that with echoing percussion and low-end textures that sound like stone corridors at midnight. "Blood is Good" leans into the predatory side of Kain's character. Something almost seductive about it.
"The Nightmare Begins" rounds it out. Four tracks is not a lot, but these four carry the weight of an entire gothic horror world built on PS1 hardware. Every sound drips with that era's approach to dark ambient scoring. If you ever wanted to know what being an unapologetic vampire in 1997 sounded like, this is it.
