"Escape from the One!" has this frantic chase energy that hits harder than expected. "LAST BLMAGEDDON" goes all-in on dramatic escalation with a name that should not work but absolutely does. And "懸軍万里" brings this sweeping military gravitas that feels completely out of place next to tracks called "おねーさんが教えてあげる" (Big Sis Will Teach You).
The tonal whiplash is the whole identity. Cutesy star-marked tracks sandwiching genuine melancholy like "氷雨" (Freezing Rain) and "君の悲しみ ボクの痛み" (Your Sadness, My Pain). Early 2000s PC sound cards doing overtime. For anyone who wants proof that VN studios in 2002 were quietly making the most unhinged soundtrack compilations.
