Dark, droning ambient sound design that barely qualifies as music and is all the better for it. LIMBO dropped in 2011 across PS3, Windows, and Xbox 360, and its soundtrack is more atmosphere than melody. "Boys' fort" hums with low industrial rumble, the kind of sound that sits in your chest.

"Rotating room" twists mechanical noise into something genuinely disorienting. The whole thing is only six tracks but each one feels like staring into a dark room waiting for something to move. "Sister" is the closest thing to emotional warmth here, and even that feels distant.
Like reaching for something through murky water. If you want to feel genuinely unsettled while doing absolutely nothing, press play and turn the lights off.
