"Rappacchini's Garden of Lethal Poisons" layers this poisonous tension over Eastern-scale melodies that just keep building. "Nameless Innocence ~ Embryo's Requiem" is devastating, all minor-key piano and strings that carry real weight.
Then "ConvAria" pulls the whole thing together into something operatic. The tilde titles are doing a lot of work. If you dig through Touhou derivative works looking for fangame composers who genuinely understand ZUN's compositional DNA, SHO gets it.
