"Hummingbird" is bright and weightless, exactly what flying should sound like. "Things we've Lost in the Fire" hits with this slow, devastating piano line that just sits in your chest. The flashback tracks weave through the score like a second story being told underneath the main one.
"Companionship" and "Home" feel lived in, like memories you are borrowing from someone else. There is a gentleness here that never tips into saccharine. It just stays honest. Anyone who cried at the end of this game knows this soundtrack is the reason why.
