A vampire romance visual novel soundtrack that goes way harder than it needs to. Lunaris Filia: Kiss of Truth opens with three versions of "Unmei no Chikai" (Oath of Fate) -- full vocal, instrumental, and karaoke -- and the vocal version has this sweeping, dramatic quality that immediately tells you the stakes are high and the feelings are higher.
Same treatment for "Shiawase no Sign" and "Our Starry," giving you nine tracks before the BGM even starts. "Hokori Takaki Kyuuketsuki" (The Proud Vampire) carries exactly the regal tension the title promises, while "Dokuzetsumaid desu ga Nanika?"
(I'm a Sharp-Tongued Maid, So What?) is the comic relief character theme you can hear the personality in just from the name. "Itsu demo Doko demo Full Power" radiates chaotic energy, and "Relaxtime" pulls everything back to something gentle.
The darker tracks are where it gets interesting. "Fureta Te ga Yasashikute" (Your Touch Was So Gentle) has this aching tenderness, and "Yami wo Kirisaku Kizuna" (The Bond That Cuts Through Darkness) closes the album on a note of fierce resolve.
Twenty-nine tracks that cover every emotional beat a supernatural romance needs.
