"注文の多い文化祭" (The Culture Festival with Many Orders) plays on "The Restaurant of Many Orders." "汚れっちまった悲しみの色" (The Color of Tainted Sadness) references the poet Nakahara Chuya. "人間合格!!!!" (Passing as Human!!!!) inverts Dazai Osamu's "No Longer Human" (人間失格).
"プティプランス" is The Little Prince. "ねむり姫" (Sleeping Princess). "Maihime" (The Dancing Girl) references Mori Ogai. "千リ一リ物語" (One Thousand and One Nights), "IFの踊子" (The Dancer of IF — riffing on Kawabata's Izu no Odoriko), "冒険王！" (Adventure King!)
Every track is a literary playdate disguised as an idol song. "春とショコラ" (Spring and Chocolate) and "夏休み" (Summer Vacation) add seasonal sweetness. Lyrical Lily lives up to its name completely.
