"Feeling of Blue Skies" and "Clear Weather" set up this bright, open-air atmosphere, the kind of music that sounds like laundry drying on a rooftop. Then "The Banana and Cucumber Song" shows up and completely derails everything in the most wonderful way.
It's exactly what it sounds like, and it even gets a sing-along version at the end. "At Night in the Corner of Town" pulls the mood down into something quieter, almost melancholy. "The Farther it Goes, it Always Go Around me" has this circular, searching quality baked right into its title.
The sing-along versions of both vocal tracks close out the album, inviting you to participate in the absurdity. Eleven tracks of pure mid-2000s Windows game charm.
