"Genji Yokobue" opens with traditional Japanese instrumentation that sets the historical warrior tone, "Ninja Village" leans into stealth tension, and then "Evolution" just erupts into something bombastic. The battle tracks are genuinely excellent.
"Revived Battlefield" and "Cyber Battle" bring intensity that would feel at home in an action RPG, "Those Who Compete for Victory" has that classic rival-fight energy, and "The Last Battle" closes the whole collection with the kind of climactic weight that makes you forget you're playing a game where romance is the main draw.
Even the goofier tracks work: "Hound Dog Dance" and "Dancing with Bad Luck" have this irreverent funk energy that matches Majikoi's sense of humor. The quieter moments hold their own too. "Koromogawa" is reflective and pastoral, "Nice Warm Day" is exactly the slice-of-life warmth the title promises, and "The Ripples" carries a subtle melancholy.
"Raptor Woman" is just a fantastic track name. Twenty-four tracks that prove Majikoi A's composer understood that comedy and action need equally strong musical foundations.
