Majikoi S is the expanded sequel to one of the most beloved comedic action visual novels out there, and the music collection reflects that chaotic energy perfectly. What makes this release interesting is that many tracks appear with dual titles, essentially English and Japanese versions listed side by side, giving you "Sunset Amnesia" alongside its original "夕焼けアムネジア" and "Sporty" next to "Sporty Basiscape."

That Basiscape credit is no joke either, as the studio founded by Hitoshi Sakimoto lent their talents here. "Fight With Swords" brings that martial arts intensity the Kawakami crew is known for, while "Daily Life is Special too" captures the slice-of-life warmth that makes you actually care about these characters between the brawls.
"The Temple Where the God of Martial Arts Lives" has this reverent, ancient grandeur that completely sells the scale of the world's fighting culture. The range from "Cheerful Comrades" to "Esoteric Dance" (奥義乱舞) tells you everything about why Majikoi works.
It's a game that shifts from goofing around with friends to full-blown shonen battle sequences without blinking, and the soundtrack nails every transition.
