Raspberyl's DLC chapter for Disgaea 3 got its own dedicated soundtrack, and it's a joy. Tenpei Sato leans into the fact that Raspberyl is basically an honor student in a school for demons, flipping the Disgaea formula on its head.

"Love Combination" and "Rasberyl Dream" establish her earnest, do-gooder energy with bright melodies that feel deliberately at odds with the Netherworld setting. "Drunkard Street" has a stumbling jazz swagger, "Mr. Champloo" grooves with laid-back cool, and "Windin'Rinding" keeps the energy light and kinetic.
Then the tone shifts: "Pathetique No. 7" brings genuine classical drama (nodding to Beethoven's sonata), "Tales of Sorrowful Youth" and "Tales of Innocent Youth" form a thematic pair that explores the bittersweet side of the story.
"Blue Concerto" and "Brilliant Blue" share a color-coded melancholy that adds real depth. "Fugue of the Netherworld" is a compositional flex, weaving counterpoint into the Disgaea sound. "Hot-Blooded Teacher Raspber" closes things with the kind of over-the-top enthusiasm that defines the character.
Thirty-one tracks for a DLC chapter is generous, and Sato treats every one like it matters. "A Song For My Old Enemy" and "The Rival" give the supporting cast real weight. This is Disgaea side content that stands completely on its own.
